Off-lease business machines (ThinkPads, Latitudes, EliteBooks) from corporate IT refreshes. Three-year-old fleet hardware, not consumer castoffs.
Examined
Full bench diagnostic: processor and memory under load, storage health, battery capacity, screen, every port, every key.
Sanitized
Drive erased following NIST SP 800-88 and verified, then a clean Windows 11 Pro install. The sanitization certificate is part of the papers.
Rehomed
Photographed honestly, graded honestly, shipped in one business day with papers in the box and 30 days of post-adoption care.

Are these used machines?
Yes: off-lease business hardware, typically three years old. Corporate fleets retire machines on a schedule, not because anything is wrong with them. Every unit here passed a full bench exam; anything that didn’t never gets listed.
What are "adoption papers"?
Each machine ships with its diagnostic report and data-sanitization certificate: what we tested, what we measured, how the drive was wiped, and when. Your certificate carries a private link and QR code that opens the same record online, so you keep it even if the paper copy walks off. We don’t publish a searchable database of machines. Only the holder of the certificate can open its papers.
What’s the warranty?
30 days of post-adoption care: if the hardware fails, we replace the unit or refund you in full. We’re honest about being a small shop. There’s no repair depot and no three-week wait, just a fast make-it-right. Plus 30-day returns, no restocking fee. Batteries are guaranteed at their listed health on arrival; normal wear after that isn’t a defect.
Why is inventory so small?
Because every unit is tested by hand before it goes up, and there is only ever one of each machine — these are specific used computers, not stock. Machines are listed one at a time, the day each one finishes the bench, so the page changes as they finish rather than on a schedule. Why the adoption theme?
Because it’s the truth of the business: perfectly good machines get retired at three years old, and the alternative is the shredder. Every rehomed unit is one less in the e-waste stream. The bear is just how we cope.
